Izabel London Curve Floral Maxi Dress

It’s now a firm tradition here on ikiwn.com to make the last post the year a roundup of some description; a sort of retrospective of the previous 12 months, usually in outfits. In the very first year of this blog, 2015, I reflected on what my personal favourites had been, and then in 2016 I got a little more official and wrote about the overall posts that my dear readers had visited the most.

In 2017, I went technical and included social stats as well as page views, and bumped the list up to include 10 outfits rather than 5. This year I’m keeping the same formula as last year, but I’m returning to the single figures for a Top 5.

Collated using social likes and shares, alongside page views taken from my blog analytics, may I present to you the top 5 outfit posts from I Knew I Was Next in 2018:

5.) …And Now For Something Completely Different

PLT+ PrettyLittleThing Kimono Dress Striped Co Ord

I’m really happy to see this post from the very beginning of 2018 making it into the top 5 as it was a huge style departure for me. Featuring a silver kimono style dress [gifted] and a striped trouser co-ord [gifted], this collaborative effort with Pretty Little Thing was a chance to think outside the box a little bit with regards to putting together outfits that I wouldn’t usually wear, and you all seemed to like it too!

4.) Plus Size Festival Looks & Practical Packing Tips

Monki Tee ASOS Curve Cycling Shorts Spiral UK Bag

At number 4 is this post in which I shared some tips and tricks about packing for festivals that I’ve picked up over the years, alongside some realistic festival outfits. I really wanted to write something that would be useful to my fellow festival goers, and each one of the three outfits are practical and comfortable looks for those that don’t necessarily see a weekend camping in a field as an opportunity for fancy dress!

3.) Tips For Living The Strapless Life This Summer

Another post that included a little bit of advice, this time for anyone who struggles with finding a great strapless bra as much as I do. Based around the fantastic Luxe by Curvy Kate [affiliate link], this outfit has the honour of being the one that has received the most love ever over on my Instagram, even breaking the 2000 likes barrier, which for me is unprecedented!

2.) Introducing Love4All

Introducuing Love4All New UK Plus Size Fashion Brand

The first ever fully sponsored post on I Knew I Was Next came along in 2018 for the lovely people over at Love4All. It was great to be able to introduce a new brand here on the blog again, and to have the post be read, shared, and supported so widely that it features here at number 2 in my yearly top 5 makes me so proud!

1.) Plus+ by Bethany Rutter & Voucher Giveaway Post

Plus Size Fashion Blogger Monki Jumper Arched Eyebrow for Navabi Skirt

At number one is a post that is becoming another tradition for my yearly top posts: a giveaway and a piece [gifted skirt] from the ever beautiful ArchedEyebrowxNavabi collection! I adore that my giveaway posts are so popular, as I tend to only accept giveaways that I think you folks will really love; it feels like a great way to say thank you for all your support.

Speaking of thank yous… to every single one of you who takes the time to read, follow, comment or message I’d like to say a big huge thank you. I know I say it every year, but this year it’s especially true: I genuinely wouldn’t still be doing this if it wasn’t for you. Here’s to a bright and positive 2019 for us all. My 2019 is shaping up to be one full of huge changes, so I hope you’ll stay with me while I navigate it all.
