Second outfit post in a row… I’m on a roll! I have had a pretty casual week, which was so so welcome after being relentlessly up to my eyeballs in job applications and CV’s and interviews over the past month. However, it’s time to rejoice as I am now back in the world of work!
To celebrate I took myself out for a wander up the shore of the Firth of Tay on a sunny but windswept day. This meant that warm, practical realness was in order as no matter how warm it is everywhere else, it’s FREEZING on the Tay.
Until around 12 months ago I saw ‘jeggings’ as the devil’s work, but after buying these dark indigo zip fly jeggings from Yours Clothing last year, I can’t see me buying another pair of jeans ever again. My particular issue with jeans is the waist-to-ass ratio: in order to get jeans over my butt and thighs they end up being massively too big around the waist. I know this is one of the most common complaints from fat babes regarding jeans: for me, with jeggings this is never an issue.
Quick note about the boots, these are the one pair of heels I have been able to wear for more than half an hour without the balls of my feet burning with the heat of a thousand suns. Not a cheap purchase, but worth every penny for that rainy day stomping about like a 90’s teenager vibe they put out.
