One of the perks of living in Scotland is that we get the autumn a little earlier here. It was my bf’s 30th birthday over the weekend, and we took a slightly hungover trip to Dunkeld for a walk about in the woods wearing our casual (and entirely inappropriate) attire. I felt stylish as hell despite my headache.
The jacket is made of a light felt-like material so really is only for wear on dry, breezy days. I genuinely don’t think it will stand up to much in the way of drizzle or rain. The length is pretty good, stopping just below the knee. With it being a wrap jacket the size is flexible, I actually ended up with a size 14 as that was the only size available at the time; whilst I’d like a bit more material around the waist, at the shoulders and bust it fits very well indeed.
The only colour I could team this jacket with was, of course, black. I wore two of my favourite foundation basics – the H&M mini skirt and the Primark long sleeved top. Here’s a closer look at some of the details:
I’m not wearing make up so please excuse the rosacea on my face.
The ring and earrings are from Peacocks; about 12 or 18 months ago, Peacocks had a wonderful summer of jewellery. Every time I walked into one of their stores there would be 3 or 4 jewellery items I wanted to buy. The leopard print scarf is from H&M, I have worn this thing to death – I absolutely believe a leopard print scarf is a wardrobe necessity as they luxe up any outfit.
